Days 0 and 1 were a real kickoff for my transformation, giving me some clear insights on what lies ahead:
Bloodwork Check
I started by analyzing my bloodwork, and the results were a wake-up call. My liver values could hint at a daily beer case, and my cholesterol levels aren’t looking great either.
DEXA Scan
This was a reality check. I’m officially in the obese range, with a body fat percentage of 33% and a BMI of 30.25. Quite the starting point to motivate me to get serious.
Quick Fitness Test
How many push-ups can I do? How many pull-ups before I hit my limit? How long can I keep jumping rope? And how do I perform on the bike trainer? I’ve set a starting point for both cardio and strength exercises.
Photo & Video Session:
I didn’t hold back on pics & vids. Every angle, every pose – all captured. The cameras and equipment are set up, ready to document each day.
Tracking Calories
Today I started with a reduced intake and tracking my calories. From tomorrow, you’ll find my daily calorie count here.
Jogging instead of Lunch:
During my lunch break, I chose a 2.5 km jog over a big meal. How do I feel now, three hours later? Like an old man, but the pride is worth it.
